Straight Stair - Bison 45 Stairlift
The Bison 45 is one of the slimmest stairlifts in the world and will fit the narrowest of stairs, folding up when not in use.
The Bison 45 is versatile, so whatever your particular staircase or personal requirements we are sure to have the stairlift that will suit your individual needs precisely. The slim folded size allows maximum access on the stairs for non-stairlift users. Bison 45 has been designed to easily blend into your home and should quickly become as much a part of your lift as your favourite armchair.
The seat has been designed with your comfort in mind. To maximise ease of use, ride quality, safety and comfort, there is a choice of seat heights ranging from 380mm to 550mm. It can be matched specifically to your personal requirements. All Bison 45's are fitted with a seatbelt for your safety.
To easily alight at the top of the stairs Bison 45 is fitted with a swivel seat as standard, with easy to use swivel release paddles located on both sides of the seat. If you have difficulty operating these controls there is an option of a fully powered swivel. This option automatically turns the seat for you.
The stairlift is operated by the rocker switch control on the end of the arm, which can be placed on either arm. For your convenience, the stairlift comes with 2 hand held remote controls which can be used to park the stairlift when it is not in use.
All Bison 45's are battery powered which enables the stairlift to operate in the event of a power cut.
The footrest is extremely close to the floor, and stops level with the top step for your complete safety. The carriage and footrest have pressure sensitive safety edges to prevent trapping of objects whilst the stairlift is in motion.
Every aspect of this stairlift has been designed to provide years of reliable use. It is fitted with a self diagnostic display to provide service information on the status of the stairlift.
Bison 45's slimline rail is smooth and attractively finished, taking up very little space on the stairs. This is the only stairlift that can operate on even the shallowest or steepest of stairs, so no matter what the circumstances you can be sure that the Bison 45 will meet your needs.
Not even a door or open corridor at the bottom of the stairs will prevent the installation. There is a range of manual or powered folding rails available to lift the bottom section of track keeping doorways and open corridors clear when the stairlift is not in use. The power folding section of the rail folds parallel to the main rail.
